APGA Ready For Nov. 4 L.G. Elections In Enugu State
In readiness for the forthcoming LGA polls in Enugu State on 4th November, 2017, the All Progressives Grand Alliance ( APGA ) Enugu state chapter held her primary election at the Oscar's Bar, along presidential road Enugu on Thursday, 7th September 2017.


The primary election which was earlier scheduled to hold at the Zodiac Hotels was relocated to Oscar's Bar due to  logistics advice.

The primary election was organised by a 3 man committee made up of : Chief Chinedu Nnam as chairman, Stanley Anekwe as Secretary  and Mr. Ogbonna Agu.

The event exhibited the party's fresh strength,  focus and a strong determination to provide alternative political options  in Enugu State.

Ostensibly, APGA members defied the heavy rainfall to attend the event in their numbers from all the wards and local government Areas in Enugu State and the election was not only peaceful but free and fair.

Among the candidates elected to fly the flag of the party in the election are: Barr. Felicia Ezeh from Igbo eze north,  Engr. Denis Egbo from Enugu South, Aleke ozor Chukwu nonso from Igbo etiti,  Ifeanyichukwu Chigoziri from Enugu North and Barr. Harry Ugwuanyi from Nsukka LGAs.

The election was conducted under the watchful eyes of the representatives of the state independent Electoral Commission ( ENSIEC ) and the Acting National Vice chairman south East zone of APGA, Elder Uchenna Nwegbo.

The Enugu State chairman of APGA,  Barr. Ken Ikeh while briefing the press stated that the peaceful nature of the election is a demonstration of the party's resolve to work as a family and take up her rightful place in the polity. Ikeh further expressed great optimism for the party in the forthcoming LGA elections in Enugu State and the 2nd term election victory of the National leader of APGA, His Excellency, Gov. Willie Maduaburochukwu Obiano, the Executive Governor of Anambra State.
Barr. Ikeh called on all the members and supporters of APGA nation wide to rise up to rise up to save our great country from the malaise of bad leadership noting that Nigerians are now wiser.
